Stress is part and parcel of life in modern life style. Now a days, the |
|
stress can invite majority of the deceases like Dibetis,Hypertention, Blood |
|
Pressure and so on. |
|
|
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
To reduce stress everybody advice the change in life style but very |
|
few will able to explain what does it mean. does it mean reduction in the work, |
|
Reduction in working hours, More information and time for pleasure or |
|
entertainment in life, Ignore the Stressful activities, and so on. However, none of |
|
the above will neither reduce the stress nor a change in lifestyle. |
|

|
|
In majority of the cases, including me, will not able to understand or |
|
know how the stress develops, the causes of the same and how to get relief from |
|
the same. This requires a total awareness of yourself 24*7, whereby at least we |
|
will able to notice the causes of the stress. Once you are aware the causes then |
|
you will automatically concentrate on how to get rid of the same. |
|
|

Some of the causes of the stress I observed of myself are given as under. |
|
Unexpected change : |
|
|
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Generally a human being has resistance of change, he will able to adjust |
|
with the change willingly or unwillingly in the course of time and needs a duration |
|
to adjust with the change. Till he adjusted with the change the stress develops, |
|
the earlier he able to accept the change the lower will be the stress. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The unexpected change examples in daily life are observed in following |
|
activities. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
You wish to reach in particular time and unable to do the same because |
|
of traffic, delay in train, bus, unexpected visitor, unable to respond the delay, |
|
fear of consequences of delay as you think, the stress develop and remain till |
|
you respond the delay and accept the change in schedule. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
It is also possible, that there is stress for change even if it is not |
|
related or affecting you. The example s are train accident, cancellation of train |
|
or somebody misses the train when you are on the platform. However, this type of |
|
stress will vanishes in short time once you leave the place. |
|

Fear of Uncertainty of Feature and Regret of Past Missing Opportunities. |

|
|
|
Something you wish to happen in feature but your mind think the same |
|
may not happen .In real terms, nobody knows what happens in next second still |
|
every human consider his life span of at least hundred years and wish something |
|
pleasure will happen in next year or decade. The uncertainty attached with the |
|
future is the cause of stress as humans are habituated to think negative or not |
|
as better as today for the future. |

|
|
The missing oppturitinites always a great cause of stress. A flat or |
|
premises offered to you at one fourth of the price today but you have not |
|
opted for the same. Selection of school or collage for children's after knowing the |
|
disadvantages later. Lost oppturnity of choosing the profession for yourself. |
|
These are the causes of the stress till you rembered the lost things and blame |
|
self for the lost things. |

Strong Opinions, dislikes, and expect the things move as per your wishes. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Every Indian wish the non-exisistance of the enemy country. Many a |
|
people believes the Govts are not working for the benefit of the common people. |
|
Even, we does not like the captaincy of our cricket team when we lost semi finals |
|
in the world cup. These are examples of the strong opinions and dislikes till |
|
there is another match where we win, enemy country is put to trouble, the stress |
|
will remain in our minds. |
|

|
|
|
|
If you are waiting at the Bus stop for a particular number of the bus |
|
to reach your destination, you expect the first bus will be of your number and |
|
every time you observed that all the buses are came except yours the stress |
|
develops till you will get the desired bus. This is the example of how the things |
|
move daily basis are not as per your wishes or expectations. |
|

|
|
The another example is if you expect that you should get say Rs. 5000/- |
|
of a particular work and you will get only say Rs.4000/- or anything less than the |
|
Rs.5000/- the stress develops however, if you got say anything more than Rs.5000/- |
|
the happiness does not last long you take is as your right to get more. |
|
|

Always remember, the stress stays for a longer time in the mind than |
|
happiness and in majority of times get unnoticed. |
|

Setting of unachievable targets or targets beyond capacity: |
|

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The example of this can be given as say in the whole 10 years of your |
|
professional practice your average earning was around say Rs. 5/- lacs and you |
|
set a target of Rs.100/- lacs for the coming year as the day passes the fear of |
|
not achievement will increase stress. No dougnt the targets will be higher than the |
|
past the methods and means deployed to achieve the same and their reachable |
|
will matters the most. |

Mixing of emotions in to everything is also a cause of stress: |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
The emotions will always increase the stress level directly or indirectly. |
|
The doctor will not allow a patient to meet the relatives beyond a particular time |
|
as the same will increase the stress level of the patient. Mixing of emotions |
|
in your day to day life though not required many a times will be cause of stress. |
|
An accident, sudden death, or a near or dear will increase your stress as your |
|
emotions are attached to the same. |

After seeing some examples of how the stress develops we now see, |

MANAGEMENT OF THE STRESS: |

Unexpected Change: |

Respond to the change in a short time, reduce the duration of acceptance |
|
of the change. |
|
|

For example in case of unexpected delay. Inform the destination that |
|
you are delayed. Undertake the steps for revision of the further schedules. Assume |
|
no negative consequences of your delay, think positive that the delay may be for |
|
positive change.(To start early).As the change is part of the life adjust with the |
|
same in short span of time. The change will come irrespective of you like or not, |
|
when the same is not in your hands you have to only to respond the same. Not |
|
all changes are bad. |

Avoid loosing your confidence till your accept or respond the change. |
|

Once you responded or accepted the stress will vanished immediately. |

Uncertainty is part and parcel of the life. There is no life without |
|
uncertainnity.when you does not know about tomorrow why to bother about the |
|
same. Assume that the future will be always brighter than the past and present. |
|
Imagine where you stands ten years before and if you are better than ten years |
|
ago , you will be definitely better after next ten years. Reduce the impact of |
|
uncertain future by planning in advance. Do not fear Plan. |
|

|
|
Missing opportunies, are helpful to learn and not to remember for the loss. |
|
You can not change you past it has experience value. You will always find more |
|
oppturnities in future than you loose past, try to tap the same. |
|

Fear and Regret will be called as experience gadgets their learning |
|
will help improve future. |

It is necessary to ember that, the early you forget the past and feature |
|
the stress levels will reduce quickly in propionate to your forgiveness. |

We are a very tiny part of the universe, you can change for yourself, |

which is also a difficult task then how can you expect things to happen in the |

Universe as per your wishes, opinion, or expectations. |

Try to Manage yourself, observe whether the virus of stress will touch you, |
|
forget if it occupy the world. |

here and live because of somebody has contributed something to you. You are |
|
good driver not because you drives well but also because the others driving with |
|
you are accommodating you. |

Try to observe what you can expect from yourself and achieve the same, |
|
leave rest to others. |

The example in our CA case , I observed is that of Assessment in I. Tax. |
|
If ITO demands any information, think simple way that he wish you clarify and |
|
hence required the details. Instead I mix the emotions in it thinking he is demanding |
|
the details because he wants money, the whole dept is corrupt, he does not want |
|
to finish the work early, he is intended to trouble you to attend again and again. |
|
By mixing the emotions with the same I am increasing my stress levels and nothing |
|
else. |

The management is try to see the things by making them as simple as |
|
possible. |
|

Conclusions: |

The small unnoticed stress in daily routine are more adversely affecting |
|
|
the health than the major noticed stress like death of near & dear, |
|
|
as we can able to notice the same and able to take corrective measures |
|
|
to reduce the same. |
|
|

The reasons of the stress are different for each individual. |
|
|
|
Know at earliest that the stress enters in you is the first step. |
|
|
|
Awareness the things give you stress is the second step. |
|
|
|
Avoid the stressful things is the third step. |
|
|
|
|
Unavoidable things make them simple and manageable. |
|
|
|
Alert the stressful object in advance and tackle them as preventive |
|
|
measure is the last destination. |
|
|
|
|
