There's a nicely built 2 kanals house in our neighbourhood, which belongs to some Foreigners. These foreigners, whom we have never seen or heard of, have given it to their trusties and these trusties have further let the house to be used as a Community Hall for public welfare and comman meeting places.
Like always, wherever ppl meet, their will be occasional drinking which sometimes also led to rusty fights, which none of the civil society bothered about.
Last month was a bit different. The fight involved and somehow dented a man of political means. As expected, there was a police raid. But strangly, Policemen wanted to arrest the Trusties, not the people involved in the fight. Aprantely, had they popinted on the people involved in fight, the Man of Means would also have been registered.
So, this is how it went, and there we were, inside the courtroom, listening to a unusual case.
" we were not even involved in the fight, my lord"
"So what, you were the one, who let them use the house" SAID THE LAW
"But we dont even charge them, It was a public welfare kind of arrangement"
"So what, It were you, who get to attend the usually happening parties at the property" SAID THE LAW
"But we are not even the owners of the house"
"So what, The foreigners have given you all the rights to manage there house in India." SAID THE LAW
This is how it stands till date:
There's party A, who were huge in numbers, and who beat the hell,
There's a party B who were lesser in number but strong by means, but somehow abused brutally.
The trusties, who are up for being screwed by LAW
The Foreigners, who are under trouble to little extent, But they dont bother much about INDIA's LAW
The LAW, which probably is under influence of Party B, the men of means.
Abbreviation:
The foreigners stands for : Facebook and Google
The trusties stands for: Indian Companies owned by Google and Facebook
The LAW stands for : Delhi Highcourt
The Party B, Men of means stands for: The Indian Government, and
The Party A Stands for: You and me offcourse.
Next hearing is is on Day 19th of January, 2012. and decision of court may just affect the way we use our PC/Laptops for.
