Dear Rajat,
In every State there is different law in this regard. If you are doing business in Uttar Pradesh then as per U P Vat Act there is legal requirement of chalan or transfer invoice with tax invoice but in common practice most of the dealers are not using chalan or transfer invoice with tax invoice. Only two copies of tax invoice are used by them but leagl requirement of chalan or transfer invoice is there. |
