My father had received the notice Non filing of I T Return 16-17

Basicly He was retaired Person from a private Organisation & currently no any source of Income to him else some interest from Bank which was below 30000 p a hence not entitle to File Anual Return

Dear Mr. Kulbhushan , 

You might have received Notice u/s 142 (1) for  non filing of ITR for FY 16-17 . 

It is suggested that : 

You may still file your return with nil /below taxable income in reply to the notice or alternatively reply to the A.O that that the income for the year of the retired person is below taxable limit .

According to me you should file NIL return of your father and indicate that total income is less than taxable limits
