Please Help: transfer (urgent)

i asked my principal for transfer as i m going to other city with my brother,he is asking for proof .
is it neccessary to give proof for going of me nd my brother there....pls suggest it is urgent

| Yes, It is necessary to furnish proof of going as per the revised announcement of ICAI, which says..:
"No request of an articled assistant for termination (transfer) of articleship shall be considered unless his/her working parent(s) is/are transferred from the city/place where the articled assistant is receiving training to another city and a copy of transfer order / proof is submitted to the principal in proof thereof. On such termination the articled assistant concerned shall join articles training in and around the place of posting of his/her parent(s) and shall not re-register articles in the same city or within 50 Kms radius of the city where he/she has undergone articles prior to such termination."
I have answered as per my knowledge about this matter.

| ( Presenting my view ) As it is not specifically mentioned in this announcement, and going by the language of this announcement, it is necessary in every year of articleship,whether it is 1st yr or 3rd yr.

| as my friend has experienced about taking transfer in first year of his articleship, i may say that just a reason for taking transfer is required, not any proof for the reason of transfer.......

| as i think that only intimation letter is required to be sent to ICAI rather the confirmation from ICAI.......

| Without consent of ur principal, transfer isnot possile. So show proof to ur principal.

| yes sir and one more ques.is that my principal is giving me transfer on 8-12-2011 as he said he had to confirm with icai and it will take time so but i want to know that does it really required? |
