1. Treat cabins/work stations used by a co-worker as if they had a door. Don't enter unless you've knocked, and ask permission to come in before you do. If someone is on the phone when you approach his or her cabin, don't interrupt. Wait at a respectful distance, so as not to appear as if you are eavesdropping, or come back later.
2. Borrow office supplies only after asking permission. If you use the last of something, be considerate and get a replacement for it.
3. Be aware of the volume of your voice; keep it low and don't use the speakerphone. Others around you are trying to concentrate and they don't need to be distracted by your conversations. Keep personal phone calls to a minimum.
4. Keep your work station neat and organized. It reflects on others' opinions of you, and you want to present a professional image in all ways.
