| Bank audit process is in halt due to corona as per information. It is not over in many regions. It is common sense that no confirmation can be final amidst corona scare. Auditor who confirmed may well be not able to do the audit after a month. Audits can be practically expected in May or June. So final allotments are pending including new appointments. |

| I RECEIVED CALL FROM BOB AND THEY GOT MY CONSENT ON PHONE. AFTER A DAY WHEN I ASKED ABOUT MAIL FOR CONFIRMATION OF APPOINTMENT THEY DENIED THE APPOINTMENT .

Can you please elaborate in such a situation of complete lockdown & banks have probably stopped allotting branches as of now. What is the situation will be in the current scenario. Is the ICAI committee corresponding with the RBI/IBA to further extend the bank audit exercise after 20th April ???

| sir any updates on other bank letters, when i asked syndicate bank Hyd zonal office, they informed that so far no letters were forwarded to any body due to the bank strikes and other reasons. Is that correct? |

| Sir my firm also new this year for PNB audit,in my view firstly list will send to RBI for approval,thereafter appointment letters will be issued to the firm's approved by RBI. |

| I presume there will be a change in the audit schedule because of virus issue. Banks may ask us to conduct audit after the situation gets better. however looking at the present situation it is very difficult to gauge when the situation will improve. |

| CA Poojala Naresh kumar - i don't feel ex IDBI auditors will be appointed for only 2 years, as no preference is given to them. No guarantee that 542 audit firms of IDBI bank will be empanelled surly in some bank. if you have any documented information, please share that. |

| As confirmed, with RBI. EX-IDBI Branch Auditors names have been forwarded to all Banks (Non- Counting Auditors). If any bank select you for appointment auditors it will be 2 years only. |
