Income Tax Department Releases ITR-7 Excel Utility for AY 2026-27

The Income Tax Department has made the Excel Utility for filing ITR-7 available for Assessment Year 2026–27. The utility was released on 9 July 2026 and can be downloaded through the official Income Tax e-Filing portal. Taxpayers and eligible entities filing returns through ITR-7 should use a genuine licensed version of Microsoft Excel 2016 or later, with macros enabled, to operate the utility properly. CA Sansaar
