ICAI Declares CA Final Results; 7,931 Candidates Become Chartered Accountants

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has declared the results of the Chartered Accountants Final Examination held in May 2026, with 7,931 candidates qualifying as Chartered Accountants.

As per the result details, 54,000+ candidates appeared in Group I, out of which 6,555 candidates passed, recording a pass percentage of around 12%. In Group II, 42,573 candidates appeared, while 8,725 candidates cleared the examination, taking the pass percentage to 20.49%.

The May 2026 CA Final result marks an important milestone for thousands of students who have been preparing for one of India’s toughest professional examinations. The successful candidates will now join the accounting and finance profession as qualified Chartered Accountants.

In the toppers’ list, Noor Singla secured All India Rank 1 with 499 marks and 83.17%. Ritij Saraf from Howrah secured the second rank with 475 marks and 79.17%, while Sohan Anil Manjrekar from Dombivli stood third with 473 marks and 78.83%.

The results also brought emotional moments for many aspirants who had been waiting for this day after years of hard work, sacrifice and repeated attempts. Students such as Komal Varshney, who cleared the examination after nearly five years of setbacks, shared their joy and relief, reflecting the resilience required in the CA journey.

For those who could not clear the examination this time, senior members and successful candidates urged students not to lose hope and to continue their efforts with renewed determination. The CA course is widely regarded as one of the most challenging professional qualifications in India, and every attempt adds to a student’s learning and preparation.

Candidates can check and download their scorecards from the official ICAI result portal at caresults.icai.org by entering their registration number and roll number. ICAI had earlier announced that the CA Final May 2026 result would be declared by the evening of 18 June 2026 on the official result website.
