ICAI Denies Reports of Data Breach Involving Members and Students
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has clarified that there has been no breach of data related to its members, students, or examination records.
The clarification came after reports and social media claims suggested that confidential data associated with ICAI may have been compromised. Rejecting these claims, the institute stated that the allegations are false, baseless, and malicious.
ICAI assured its members, students, and other stakeholders that their records and examination-related information remain secure. The institute further advised stakeholders not to rely on unverified claims or misleading information being circulated on social media platforms.
The apex accounting body emphasized that no such data breach has taken place, either as alleged or otherwise. CA Sansaar
