Reserve Bank of India (Commercial Banks - Concentration Risk Management) Amendment Directions, 2026 (Revised)

Please refer to the Reserve Bank of India (Commercial Banks - Concentration Risk Management) Directions, 2025 (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Directions’).

On review, consequent to the issuance of the Reserve Bank of India (Commercial Banks – Credit Facilities) Amendment Directions, 2026 (Revised) dated March 30, 2026, and in exercise of powers under Sections 21 and 35A of the Banking Regulation Act, 1949, the Reserve Bank of India issues the following Amendment Directions (Revised).

1. Amendments

1.1 Chapter I – Preliminary

The following definitions are inserted:

• Acquisition Finance – as per RBI Credit Facilities Directions, 2025
• Bridge Finance – as per RBI Credit Facilities Directions, 2025
• Capital Market Intermediaries (CMIs) – as per RBI Credit Facilities Directions, 2025
• Collateral Security / Collateral – as per RBI Credit Facilities Directions, 2025
• Non-debt Mutual Funds – schemes not exclusively invested in debt
• Primary Security – as per RBI Credit Facilities Directions, 2025
