| Though, we understand the meaning of word carriage and freight are much similar, there exists a change.
The word Carriage is predominantly used in cases when the goods were moved from one location to other location using a cart. However with modern automation in technology, more of commercial carriers are used to transport the goods. The freight word as mentioned above were part american.
