I have two questions:
1. Can any CA sign statement of Assets and Liabilities of a Private company while company is going for its conversion to LLP
2. Is there any format or form specified by Government for preparing Statement of Assets and Liabilities for such purpose. |

Statement of Assets and Liabilities of the company as on particular date is nothing but the Balance Sheet as on particular date. The same should be first signed by the board of director of the company. If a CA signs such statement the same should be reasonably assured about its genuineness by adopting appropriate auditing procedure.
2. In relation to the form of Statement of Assets & Liabilities kindly go through the Companies Rules |
