in case manufactures has wrongfully charged excise duty on the input supplied by him to you,and input was right fully passed on to you via proper invoice and other requirements, then you can claim the same and adjust it as input credit of excise duty against the excise duty payable by you

This should be ir respective of the fact that the goods were actually exempt of excise duty,, as the assesse has actully paid for the excise duty.

There is no provision to Claim that MOney from Manufacturer But If you have the Valid copy of Invoice that the manufacturer raised when you buy the product then on that base you can Claim the input credit from govt department.
In case YOu Are the Consumer of that goods then there is no provision for claiming that Wrongly Charge Amount of Excise |
