| u can go to income tax site, click on pay taxes online on the left hand side of the screen, then on filling the asked information, u can pay tax through online banking facility. For that u should have net banking facility on ur account net banking password. Normally whatever payment u make through credit card, 2% charges are charged by bank. But in case of income tax, payment is made using internet banking, and for this very minimum charges are charged by banks..ranging somewhere between Rs. 10/- to Rs. 50/- per transaction.

| Charges vary from bank to bank. Normally it is 1.8% of amount.
