Flat owned by the Wife, Loan payment made by the Husband , can husband claimed the deduction for the same ? |

| As per my knowledge husband cannot claim the deduction. Because loan is on the name of the wife as flat is owned by wife. Hence only wife can claim deduction whether loan amount repaid by herself or anybody else. The payment of loan installments by the husband will be treated as loan to wife in case of the husband.

| No deduction will be claimed by husbend in that case even if he is paying
