| No, Medical allowances are fully taxable. BUT MEDICAL REIMBURSEMENT UP TO RS. 15000 IS EXEMPT AGAINST BILLS PRODUCED.SO, PLZ. CHECK WHETHER YOU ARE GETTING MEDICAL ALLOW. OR REIMB.

| medical allowalce is fully taxable but as far as perquisites of medical treatment is concerned 15,000 in a year is exempted if it is not made for the relative in government hospital , company's own hospital , specified hospital with specified disease.
