Please Help: Return for A Y 2010-11

One new assessee came to me on 31st March. He wanted to file return for A Y 2010-11 and claim refund of TDS of around Rs.13000/-. He didnt had the FORM 16A and neither his e filing password or any other detail. I sent mail for password reset the same day to view tax credit in 26AS. But the password reset mail arrived to me on 1st April only.
The nutshell is his return for AY 2010-11 is pending. As the time limit has passed and online return cannot be filed now, what is the best possible remedy with me? |

to the extent of my knowledge if the employer has made default in issuing form 16A than your client can get the tds amount reimbursed from the employer... else your client would have to incur loss of tds amount... no remedy available in that context...
