A person filled a return for A/Y 2009-10 mannualy to claim his TDS refund of Rs. 12745.
Till now he not recieved this refund.
But as i see form 26AS online it show only Rs.4328 as tds deducted.I know that TDS return can be revised by deductor but i don't want to argue with deductor because the deductor is govt. department and this TDS is related to 2008.
This person have TDS certificate with him but misplace the acknowledgement of income tax return filled.
Now what i have to do to claim this refund in the absence of acknowledgement of return.? |

correct, when you submit TDS certificate along with application, dept. will issue notice to that govt. dept for do correction in their ETDS return and issue corrected TDS certificate with that you will eligible to get tds refund of 2008 |
