Hi,
A company gives the order of buying the Flex boards and also doing the printing work on the boards and the vendor charges the VAT on the bill and there is no bifurcation in the bill of the separate details of the price of the Flex board and the price of the printing work . Now the company Deducts the TDS on the entire amount including TDS and take the Input credit of VAT PLS tel me whether this is the correct treatment and can you give me the Refrence of any section in this regard.
Thank You

Sir,
Without printing a flex board has no use.If we purchase a ready made flex board the it is obvious we will take input credit of vat. Printing is a part of making or manufacturing of flex board without which flex board cannot be made.Without printing ,it is a piece od wood.So I don't think so that we should see printing bills with a different aspect. It is a part of complete flex board.Obvious we will purchase flex board after the work of printing. So it is a part of the total cost of purchase.Vender can charge VAT on the whole amount including printing.
