Please advise , we are a ship broking company situated in gurgaon. We have business outside india and get the money in USD into our account in gurgaon. Please advise do we have u pay service tax ? or is the service tax only to be paid on business carried out in india |

| if its a consultancy service that you are providing to your clients then the incidence of service will originate from indian trerritory, and since it is not covered in the negative list, so you will be liable to pay service tax on the same.
