| Exemption given to SSI can be availed by this service center which says that there is no need to take service tax registration if annual turnover does not exceed Rs 10 lakh.

| But our Service Tax Supritendent said that this exemption is not valid for Authorised centers with a brand name |

| Not liable for service tax registration as the limit was not exceed as per presrcibed by the act. |

| Though the said service surely falls under the service tax net and is liable to service tax but exemption given to SSI can be availed by this service center if its annual turnover does not exceed Rs 10 lakhs. |
