as per new amenment service tax after july shall be charged on invoice value basis....but while putting the values in st-3 form..it only accept the values if gross amount received is equal to taxable amount.....
i am not able to fill the coulmn 4B of st-3...source document details.can anyone help me to give the accurate format in which the values have to be filled... |

| Dear Querist,
Please note that you have to fill the full amount as it was clarified vide Notification No. 48/2011-ST dated 19 October, 2011 that for the purposes of this Form (i.e. ST-3) , the words “received /paid” used herein shall be construed as “received or receivable /paid or payable’, as the case may be, in terms of the Point of Taxation Rules, 2011”. Further, in respect of source document details you can refer ST-3 (http://www.servicetax.gov.in/forms/st3.pdf) as provided on CBEC website wherin it is clarified what has to be filled in column 4B.
