hi friends, If someone made a STCG on sale of shares and subsequently he invests amount in purchase of house property, whether exemption of STCG tax is available on such purchase of house |

| Exemption to STCG tax will be available for limited sections as per income tax act i.e., 54B, 54D, 54G, 54GA. As your STCG doesnot fall under this sections you won't be able to claim any exemptions |

| No, you won't be able to claim any exemption for STCG in this case.
