my father in law is 73 yr ,old,in 1992 he purchased PNB MUTUAL FUND ELSS 92 for income tax purpose and later forget about that recently we received a letter from pnb to submit document for encashment of that mutual fund the documents are as follows1.original unit certificate 2.original copy of acknw,of investment 3.copy of debit entry of pass book 4.original counterfolio of the diividend but he is not having any of these thing as the account from which this investment was made is closed and that branch of bank is also closed.but we have submitted self attested copy of PAN card,a cancel cheque of unit holder and address proof as desired by them but since last 7 months they are not doing any thing they are use to send a preprinted letter with same requirment as we have already cleared them about our enability to submit those documents .pls guide us how we can encash those units. |
