how should i prepare for an interview with grant thornton for articleship? |

| Articleship Interview process at Grant Thornton
1. Aptitude test
2. Group Discusion
3. HR Interview
4. Technical interview.
a) To tackle the aptitude test be strong with basics in all subjects like accounting, mathematics,commerce etc. In addition to that you also have to be keep in tact with the current affairs and General Knowledge.
b) And for Group Discussion you may know what to do.Presence of mind matters.
c) For HR interview, you have to know about yourself like your Goals,ambition, hobbies etc. know about the firm (ie) Grant Thornton, be clear as to why you chose that firm / company for articleship.They may try to threaten you by making false statements about their working times, conditions etc, but don't ever go by that . They just try to test your adaptability.
c) For Technical Interview, be clear with the all subjects of IPCC. Specifically Accounting Standards, Law, income tax etc.They ask questions from all subjects of IPCC, even from Information technology. The technical interview session may also extend to 45-50 min if you are able to answer their questions.They will first start from the subject in which you are interested, at that time please tell a subject in which you are fully confident,because as you know First impression is the best impression.
d) If you are selected in all these phases of interview you may have an interview with the partner level.But this interview can be overcome if you are confident and have a good communication skill.
Be confident and bold that is the key to success.
