which field should i go for articleship - taxation or audit for better career growth?? If in future, i go for a job in a CA firm. then also?? |

| Dear Sumit,
The field/stream in which one should do training/articleship depends upon the interest of of each individual as both are good for career growth i.e. if one chooses audit, then he can be at a very good position in Finance such as CFO/VP/AGM/DGM etc. similarly if one chooses tax he can be at good position there too.
Further,as regards about working in CA Firm, please note that there you are going to learn each and everything and the learning wont be restricted to any one stream provided the CA Firm in which one joins has ample amount of work. However, the pay package of CA Firm is usually less than those offered by the industry.
Therefore, its a call which you need to decide.

| Dear Sumit ji, rightly said by Ashish ji, I wanna add something more to it as articleship is minimum of three years, so there is enough time to learn sufficiently about both the fields and others as well, this will open your scope wider, so dont get confusion among the fields and move for all.......

| i am so confuse to choosing the firm for articleship, how can i know about firms background.i visited some top 20 firms in delhi, top firms prefers experience holder. some top firms say that there is no vacancy now, whether i have to wait for some time or join small firm? |
