In case of Purchase some vendors charges VAT on the total Value of Material + Freight + Loading Unloading Charges = Total Value of Material + VAT......

in my opinion vendor can not charged vat on freight loading unloading charged vat to be charged only on the value of material purchased but if charged then all these expenses alongwith value of material will be cost of materilas purchased and will be booked accordingly these expenditure will not be accounted seperately in books |

Hello..........If freight/Loading/unloading amount is sepreately mentioned in invoice than vendor shall charge VAT only on the value of the goods not on the entire amount. |
