Excel utilities for ITR-2 and ITR-3 for AY 2025-26 are now live and available for filing.

The Income Tax Department has officially released Excel-based offline utilities (version 1.0) for ITR‑2 and ITR‑3 forms, now available for download on the e‑Filing portal as of 11 July 2025.

Visit the Income Tax e‑Filing portal → Downloads section and find Excel utilities for ITR‑2/3 (version 1.0, 8.93 MB and 10.8 MB, respectively)
Download and enable macros in Excel (Office 2016 or later required).
Fill in relevant income, deductions, assets, and tax details.
Use validation checks.
Generate the .json file and upload it to the portal to file your return.
E-verify your submission.
