Income Tax Department Announces Departmental Examinations 2026 for ITOs, ITIs & Ministerial Staff

The CBDT has announced the Departmental Examinations – 2026 for Income Tax Officers (ITOs), Income Tax Inspectors (ITIs), and Ministerial Staff (MS). The examinations will be conducted in online mode under the Departmental Examination Rules, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online from 1 July 2026 to 21 July 2026. The notification also provides details regarding eligibility, examination pattern, permissible attempts, and the complete examination schedule.
