MCA Warns Stakeholders Against Fraudulent Calls and Messages

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has cautioned stakeholders against fraudulent phone calls, WhatsApp messages, emails, phishing links, fake websites and malicious attachments impersonating the Ministry or other government departments. The MCA clarified that it does not contact stakeholders through mobile calls or WhatsApp regarding non-compli ance or enforcement proceedings. Users should verify official communications only through mca.gov.in, avoid opening unsolicited ZIP files or suspicious links, and never share sensitive information with unverified sources.
