Income Tax Department Rolls Out Second Set of Statutory Forms Under Income Tax Rules, 2026 on e-Filing Portal

The Income Tax Department has released the second set of statutory forms prescribed under the Income Tax Rules, 2026 on the official Income Tax e-Filing portal. The rollout is part of the phased implementation of the Income Tax Act, 2025 and the corresponding rules, enabling taxpayers and other stakeholders to access the newly notified statutory forms electronically.

The newly made available forms are intended to facilitate compliance with the provisions of the Income Tax Rules, 2026 through the e-Filing platform. Taxpayers, tax professionals, and other users can access these forms by visiting the official Income Tax e-Filing portal. The department is expected to continue rolling out additional statutory forms and digital services in line with the implementation schedule of the new income tax framework.
