Q. > Please Help: new schedule 6
can anyone please tell me the name of any company which prepare their 2011 accounts as per new schedule 6
answered Nov 10, 2011 by Ashish Karundia , New Delhi
Dear Bharat,
Please note that revised schedule VI is applicable for presentation of accounts under companies Act. Reporting in revised schedule VI format is not required in quarterly reports as there is no requirement in companies act to submit quarterly financials. Qyarterly financials are required by SEBI so SEBI format has to be followed. Therefore, revised schedule VI is not applicable for reporting in clause 41 format. In other words, Companies have to report in existing clause 41 format only and previous year figures will also be as per same format. However, it may be noted that the annual accounts for FY 2011-12 will be reported in revised schedule VI format only. So for 3 quarters companies are not required to to follow revised schedule unless SEBI format is revised.
Therefore, none of the companies are preparing their accounts as pre revised schedule VI.
Hope the above suffice.
CA Sansaar
