Q. > Please Help: vat
I have filed the vat return for quarter 2nd for f/y 13-14 and thereafter i have received a bill of rs 105000 including 5000 vat for august 13 ,now my query is shall i book this bill in aug or after sep 13.what will be impact on vat return.

FIRSTLY , YOU SHOULD CONFIRM THAT THE TIME WHEN BILL WAS TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION BY THE PERSON FROM WHOM YOU RECEIVED THE BILL. IF, IT WAS NOT TAKEN INTO CONSIDERATION BY HIM IN THE Q2 THEN IT WILL BE EASY FOR YOU TAKE THE BILL ON ANY OTHER DATE IN Q3.
IF,YOU CAN NOT CONFIRM THAT - IT IS BETTER TO REVISE THE RETURN.

07-Dec-2013 , 10:28:28 amYou can request to the bill issuer to make the date of the bill after september if he will be ready then u don't have any problem.otherwise revise your vat return for 2nd quarter having considered it in the month of August.
