Q. > Please Help: MOU ICAI and ICAA
Dear Friends!
This is very unfortunate that there is no exam centre for the Chartered Accountants from ICAI in India who wish to appear for EBA exam under MOU with ICAA Australia. So most of them even if they want to do CA Australia as their first choice has no other alternative but to go for CPA Australia only which has examination centre in 5 cities of India. The reason being that the travelling costs to Australia or any other country just for giving exam is very costly including the registration and exam fees for CA Australia in all together for the students from India.
I request you to kindly take up this matter with ICAA to look into the matter and start working to organise in the coming times at least one exam centre in the capital city Delhi which can be done in coordination with British council, Delhi as has been done by CPA Australia.
I think only then this MOU between ICAI and ICAA will be really effectively executed.
