18-Apr-2012 , 02:24:55 amCompliances under excise: Payment of duty for quarter/motnh ended march to be made on 31st march itself. Monthly/ quarterly returns as applicable (ER1/ER3, ER6), Annual returns to be filed in April : ER5, ER7, Annual return to be filed in November. New Series of Invoices and new registers to be opened for new financial year under due intimation of new series to the Department alongwith intimation of Notifications under which assessee is assessable or subject to. These are general procedures. If you any specific queries or need details on any issue, kindly ask specific.

However, Audit EA 2000 and AG Audit team schedules and conducts audit under intimation in writing and verifies and vouches all self assessment records and supporting documents as claimed/ filed by assessee
