Q. > Please Help: MIS report
sir, ye MIS report kya hoti hai ,es ko kiyo bnaya jata hai...ye report kya show krti hai explain in detail
answered Nov 27, 2011 by Ashish Karundia , New Delhi
Dear Sanjeev,
MIS is a monthly information report which is prepared for the management so that they can have an idea as to whether the business is functioning properly, the income/expenses are upto the target/budgets. In nut shell it gives a birds eye view to the management.
Further, if you want to understand the same in detail then i would request to google out the same.
Hope the above suffice.

Yeah, i do agree.. however, i would like to add that MIS need not be only monthly reports.. it can be prepared on daily, weekly or fortnightly basis.. further, it may be related to production, sales figures etc also.
