If any hospital has taken the service of a doctor & pay him as professional fee on visit basis. Whether GST is applicable in this case? If so, whether hospital will require to pay GST on Professional charges under Reverse Charge Mechanism?

17-Sep-2017 , 02:38:55 pmProfessional service provided by a doctor to a hospital is a SUPPLY and will be charged to GST. If doctor is on roll of the hospital (Employer employee relation) and taking salary , then No GST will be applicable. Moreover, in your case if doctor is unregistered then only RCM will apply u/s 9(4).
