Q. > Please Help: Digital signature affixation of e-return
i have to file a itr-4 with digital signature,while uploading the itr software prompt for D.S( digital signature )& registering the same with the I.T. depart.i have cd containing D.S .in p.f.x format .i have imported the file . but while uploading the D.S the software couldnt pickup the same as error shown ...(please select your file properly by enetering the right password)
i could nt affix the same

hello Mr. Singh... if u have you sign a return digitally with pfx format than u need to copy it first to the system from which you r uploading the return coz it will not take sign from cd..

Copy the digital signature to the PC or system then register the digital signature on site of income tax.
