Q. > Please Help: TDS FIne query
HI Team,
I had an employee who worked in my organization from July 2009 to April 2011. His basic pay was 20,000 INR. I used to charge 2000 INR as TDS. But due to some personal reason I didnt pay the TDS.
Now as on 14th Nov 2015 if I have to pay the TDS then how much tax do I need to pay and what would be the amount.
Can you please provide me the details.

20-Nov-2015 , 11:55:19 pmWell you will have to pay same amount as tds that you have deducated with interest @ 18% from due date of payment, which is 15 days from the end of the month, and for march its 30th April, however this dates for march was changed from time to time, for knowing the exact figure, Kindly contact your concerned Chatered Accountant or reach us at ca_atit@yahoo.in
