Q. > Please Help: TDS on director remuneration
under which section of income tax we can deduct TDS on remuneration paid to directors. Is it sec 192 even if there is no employer-employee relationship exist?

hi, remunration to director is not salary as per salary defination in income tax so services given by director to company is in professional capicity so TDS on such remunration is deducted u/s 194J

23-May-2012 , 12:47:00 pmwell bhuvnesh , TDS on director remuneration will be required to deducted u/s 194J(1)(ba) with effect from 1st July, 2012. This new clause 1 (ba) has been inserted in this budget 2012.
