Normally, CENVAT input is allowed to be taken in respect of telephone/mobile phone bills provided bills are in name of co. and co. pays the bills. As far as payment through reimbursement route is concerned, it should not make much difference as that is a procedural issue and essentially the payment is made by co. For reference, you may refer decision of CESTAT, Ahmedabad bench in Muscat Polymers Pvt Ltd. v/s CCE dt 26.09.2011, High Court of Gujarat in Excel Crop Care Ltd v/s CCE (2009)and master circular issued by CBEC - circular no. 97/8/2007 dt 23.08.2007.
