answered Dec 13, 2013 by shankygarg , Karnal
If the invoice is issued by the old business , then the service provider has to pay service tax on the amount of RS.60000.
If invoice is issued by new entity, new service tax reg. number will be required & again limit of RS.10 Lakh Will apply.

16-Dec-2013 , 05:37:34 pmIf Service provider is old concern : - Check wheather value of taxable service exceed Rs.10,00,000 in immediately preceeding year , if exceeding then pay service tax on 9,60,000 + 60,000 otherwise u need to pay service tax on Rs.60,000 only. If Service provider is new concern : - pay service tax only on Rs.60,000 don't need to pay service tax.
