Q. > Please Help: Change of name
I want to change my name in the records of ICAI. Can somebody help me with the procedure and documents required and also the person whom to be contacted.

File an affidavit before a public notary for the name change. Publish the same in 2 newspapers. File an application with ICAI for change of name with the original copy of the newspaper containing that publication. ICAI will issue a certificate in letter form certifying the change in name, from that day onwards ur name will stand changed in the records of the institute , but no fresh certificates will be issued for the same.
