can I appear in Final examination within last 12 months of articleship.

Dear Vinita,
You can appear for CA Final Examination within last 12 months, if you are in service as on 1st November/1st May and serving the last twelve months of article training including excess leave, if any, and due to complete 3 years on or before 31st October/30 April of the next year if you are PEII students/PEII students converted to IPCC. However,if you are IPCC/intermediate/PCC converted to IPCC students, then in such a case you can appear for final exams if they are in service as on 1st November/1 May and serving the last six months of article training including excess leave, if any, and due to complete 3 ½ years article ship on or before 30th April/31st October of the subsequent year.
