Q. Accounting Treatment of Fixed Asset - Company purchases a Laptop and then gives it to employees. Company recover full amount from the employees salary on monthly basis towards laptop. At the same time CO is claiming depreciation in its books. Company is showing this recovery as advance received from employees. My Query is: 1. Can Company carry this laptops a FA in its books? 2. Is treatment of Advance correct, How is it to be treated? 3. How does this treatment of advance distort the balance sheet? 4. Whats the ideal treatment for above transaction ?

Q. builder & developers - on of my client who is builder & developers has obtained PAN card on 2/5/2014 and started bank account on the basis of nondhni nu pramanpatra from nagarpalika and started purchase of materials from nov 2013.... so as I can file income tax return from A.Y 2015-16 but as to 31/3/2014 he had incurred expenses for material of Rs. 2000000/- so how can I claim those expenses in P.Y 2014-15?????
