Q. ICDS - Section 145A provides for valuation of inventory in accordance with the method of accounting regularly employed by the assessee and further adjusted to include the amount of any tax, duty, cess or fee actually paid or incurred by the assesseeâ€¦â€¦.
In case if there is a conflict between section 145A and ICDS II it is obvious that section 145A would prevail.
My Question is that we have valued closing stock on market price basis since opening of the rice mill. So whether it is required to valued inventory on cost or net realizable value which ever is less or continue to do valuation as per market price basis.

Q. Articleship transfer restrict - my ca said" write letter stating you wont serve rest of your articleship in INDIA but from NEPAL only." i will send it to ICAI with form 109.

this was a reply, when i asked my CA for transfer "my mom is sick in nepal i have to be there and will continue my articleship there.", i got in this firm, where i am now sent to client place to work as an employee. and not audit.

i needed transfer its 2 months+ now that i am registed here.......

plz help, am i bound to that letter if i register in DELHI.
Will any issue arrise if that happens, i am clueless.. plzz help. reply soon.

Q. Share application money pending allotment - We have got a balance sheet where share application money is being shown with same figure as on 31-03-2014, 2015 and 2016. Even after repeated instances, the company management is least bothered to get the same alloted for the reasons best known to them. Unfortunately, the share application figure is also beyond the authorised paid up capital. In such a case, while closing a balance sheet, what kind of declaration/qualification/representation should an auditor do/take to safeguard his interests.
